For Emma, beauty has always been a quiet mission. Launching Calperi in her late 40s as a "rookie" entrepreneur, she wasn't driven by profit, but by a simple, radical hope: that elegance should be accessible to every pet and their person. The spark came from a spirited Golden Retriever who refused to start her day without being "dressed." After her owner adorned her with butterfly wings or a colorful necklace, she would trot to the mirror, admiring her reflection with unmistakable pride. In that moment, Emma realized a profound truth—the desire for beauty does not belong to humans alone. Frustrated by a market where pet design was either utilitarian or prohibitively expensive, Emma created Calperi to bridge the gap. We believe beauty is a universal right and a shared language. Whether it’s a natural stone necklace or an artisanal rosette, our pieces honor the warmth animals bring to our lives.
